Alaska HDTV, Alaska’s most watched adventure show, has announced it will be shooting 5 upcoming episodes with Adventure Athlete, Payge McMahon as special guest host. When asked about the upcoming project, Scott Slone, President of Alaska HDTV said in a statement:
“A mutual friend in the lower 48 told me about Payge. I checked her out and man, what she does is cool! Her enthusiasm for life and positive energy is what we need on TV! She inspires so many people to get off their butts and try new things. It is going to be fun working with her on these upcoming episodes!”
Shooting will begin the 1st week in March and will cover the events leading up to and including the world famous, 39th Annual Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. Expect lots of action, fun interviews and culture shock as Payge travels over 4,000 miles for lots of FIRSTS! It will be her first time in Alaska, dog sledding and experiencing all the craziness around the Iditarod festivities. It is going to be a fun ride so come on board!
